CALL FOR CLINICAL INQUIRY GRANT APPLICATIONS
The Connecticut Charter Oak Chapter of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) is offering a grant of up to $500 per project to financially support clinical inquiry projects that focus on topics related to hospice and palliative care. All interdisciplinary team members are invited to submit a proposal. The Awardee(s) will present the outcomes of their project at a Chapter meeting in 2025.
To apply for this grant, please submit a 3–5 page proposal (attached), along with a letter of support and project budget, as outlined below, by October 1, 2024. Please submit applications and/ or questions to the CT chapter of HPNA at ct.hpna1@gmail.com .
Your proposal should include:
Title:
Authors: All authors, with credentials and affiliations
Aims: The overall purpose, research question, or study hypothesis
Background & Significance: Why this study is important and what is the ‘so what’
Methods: The study or project design (include sample, recruitment/consent, data collection plan, and data analysis)
Outcomes: What will be the endpoints or what will be measured to answer the question
Conclusions: The potential overall impact of the study/project and relevance to nursing or healthcare science
References (Does not count in the page number restriction)
Institutional letter of support/ approval from university or workplace
Project Budget
